Prayer

"We pray this in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please Him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God." Colossians 1:10

OPEN PRAYER EVERY WEDNESDAY EVENING IN THE FAMILY CHAPEL FROM 5:45 TO 6:15 PM ~ OPEN TO EVERYONE.

As believers, we ought to "pray without ceasing," as Paul said, "be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God." Join us as believers in Christ praying together in the power of the Holy Spirit.

Hebrews was a sermon for a specific people and culture in the midst of martyrdom and persecution, but is also so relevant for us today, reminding us to continue walking toward Jesus regardless of our culture or our circumstances. Join Lisa as she journeys through this bridge between the Old and New Testaments to get to the heart of the matter: Jesus is our accessible King.

OUR PRAYER CLASS IS OPEN TO EVERYONE ON WEDNESDAY NIGHTS AT 7:00PM IN THE FAMILY CHAPEL.

Prayer is central to our fellowship with God, and our prayer life is directly affected by what we believe about God. Please feel free to join as you are able to attend! This class is meant to be open for anyone to jump in and out as your schedule allows.

God is loving and powerful. He is able to work against some of the strongest forces of hate in the world. We can imitate God's justice by fighting against these same powers in our own lives. Taking a fresh look at this theme throughout Scripture, these twelve studies show how God wants us to love justice too.

THIS STUDY MEETS WEDNESDAYS. Our weekly Wednesday morning study meets 9:30 a.m. in the Jr. High Room. You can join this study at any time. Childcare is provided during this study. There is a limited number of books available at the Chapel Store or the following links:

"He has shown you, O man, what is good;

And what does the LORD require of you?

But to do justly, to love mercy,

And to walk humbly with your God!"
