women's ministry

If you are interested in joining either the Tuesday night or Wednesday morning Zoom Bible study, please email womensministry@calvaryslc.org with your name and email and the study you would like to attend.

The Women's Ministry at Calvary Salt Lake is designed to follow the teachings in Titus 2 which tells us to teach sound doctrine, live honorable and godly lives, being a good example to one another. We try to accomplish this through Bible Studies, Retreats, Conferences, Luncheons, and many more Outreach Events designed just for women. Our desire is to grow in the knowledge and wisdom of the Word of God, develop life long friendships with one another, and just enjoy life together.

MINISTRY VERSE

But as for you, speak the things which are proper for sound doctrine: that the older men be sober, reverent, temperate, sound in faith, in love, in patience; the older women likewise, that they be reverent in behavior, not slanderers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things - that they admonish the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be discreet, chaste, homemakers, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be blasphemed. - Titus 2:1-5

DUE TO THE DIRECTIVES OF THE GOVERNMENT, OUR TUESDAY WOMEN'S BIBLE STUDY IS CURRENTLY HELD ON ZOOM.

Come and explore the book of Judges with J.D. Greear! The book of Judges cracks a window into depths of the human soul. Watch a nation struggle with its identity and relationship with God. Heroes and heroines arise, who seem to have the potential to save Israel. But in the end, each proves to be a broken savior that cannot deliver. In this series, pastor and author J.D. Greear wades into the book of Judges to shine a light onto the muddy waters of human rebellion. J.D. works through each chapter unpacking the truth of God's grace in the midst of human wickedness, and shows how only the divine can redeem the fallen.

Taking a fresh look at this theme throughout Scripture, these twelve studies show how God wants us to love justice too.

And what does the LORD require of you?

But to do justly, to love mercy,

And to walk humbly with your God!"
